PROCESS:

 

Prepare margarita glass:

Mix sugar and Tang. Rub outside of the glass with a lime wedge so the sugar sticks to it

Dip outer edge of the glass in sugar mixture. I like to do half the glass incase somebody wants to get away from the sugar. Place glasses in the fridge or freezer. Do the rims BEFORE chilling, because the rim can run off when the glass de-frosts

 

The Mango-Rita:

Put ice into the blender, add tequila and rum and remainder of ingredients. Puree until smooth, listen to the sound of the ice in the blender,

you will hear when the ice becomes smooth. Pour into prepared margarita glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

 

* Use fresh ripe mango when possible

* Tang was good enough for the astronauts, it'll work great for you too!

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

2 cups ice

1.5 oz tequila

1 oz Dark Rum

2 oz mango puree

1 oz sweet & sour mix

1/2 oz pineapple juice

 

Sugar

Tang

Lime juice to rim glass

  • PROCESS: Grind 3 candy canes in the food processor until they are powder like. Rub martini glass rim with a lime wedge, dip rim in the candy cane powder.   • PROCESS: Peel and juice the cucumber. Set aside. Prepare the sweet and sour: In a saucepan stir together 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Allow to come to room temperature. Add 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice and 3/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Will last for one week. To make a cucumber martini ,fill a glass tumbler or martini shaker with lots of ice. Add 1 1/2 ounces each of gin, sweet and sour and cucumber juice. Add some fresh mint and top with the metal tumbler or shaker lid. Shake like crazy and pour into a chilled martini glass. Top with a splash of Sierra Mist and Enjoy! INGREDIENTS: 1,5 ounce Hendricks Gin 1.5 ounce fresh sweet and sour 1.5 ounce cucumber juice splash of sprite squeeze of fresh lime fresh mint leaves
  • PROCESS: Prepare margarita glass - rim with lime and salt. Put ice into the blender, add tequila. Add remainder of ingredients. Blend and pour into prepared margarita glass. Garnish with lime circle.
