This fresh berry sauce is fabulous over Ice Cream!
2 pints raspberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup blackberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries
1 cup raspberries
whipped cream to garnish
vanilla ice cream
Place two pints of raspberries (fresh or frozen)in a skillet
Add granulated sugar and water.
Allow the water to come to a boil and turn off the heat.
Puree until smooth using an emersion blender.
Strain the berries through a mesh strainer to remove the seeds
Cool to room temperature.
Add fresh blackberries, blueberries, sliced strawberries and even more raspberries and stir to combine.
To turn this sauce into a fabulous dessert, scoop vanilla ice cream into a couple martini glasses
Pour the berry sauce over the ice cream.
Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprig of fresh mint, mmm!
