Cranberry Salsa makes a festive holiday appetizer!
1 pint Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon minced jalapeno
1/4 cup fine diced red onion
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoon olive oil
dash hot sauce
juice of one fresh lime
Place all ingredients in a bowl... Mix well.
Serve with tortilla chips, plantain chips, yucca chips and or sweet potato chips.
Or serve as a side sauce for roast pork, chicken, venison or duck.
Use as you would tomato salsa.
