Blue Cheese Bruschetta with caramelized onions... Awesome with Steak!
1 loaf French bread
1 stick soft butter
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 onions sliced
1 stick butter
1 pound blue cheese crumbles
Slice a large loaf of French Bread in half lengthwise and place it on a cookie sheet crust side down.
Spread with soft butter.
Sprinkle it with salt, pepper, garlic and parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400-degree oven until golden brown.
Peel and slice 4 large yellow onions and saute in butter over medium heat until they become dark brown and caramelized. This may seem like a lot of onions but there gonna shrink as they cook.
Spread the caramelized onions all over both halves of bread and burry it all in Blue Cheese crumbles! Remember! The better the Blue Cheese the better the Bruscetta!
Bake in a 400-degree oven until golden brown and goergeous.
Cut into large chunks and WOOF!
I love to serve this bruscetta with Caesar Salad, a huge Juicy steak, and a Big Red Wine
