Sell tickets and make $$$ for your organization!

We take ALL the risk, we mooch the stuff for the raffle, build and market the Basket. You SELL tickets!
It's Easy! Just ask Dana Mueller from the PAW Animal Shelter, her organization has earned over $30,000!

To sell tickets:

• Your organization must be a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works for the good of Southeast Iowa.
• Complete the Participation Request Form and return it to the CLF.
• Sign out tickets and distribute to your salesforce to sell.
• Return the tickets and cash to the CLF by May 14th.
• Communicate with the CLF periodically about tickets and other information regarding the Basket.

Here's the Benefit for Participating Organizations:

• A participating organization sells raffle tickets to win the Community Basket and the Walt Disney World Resort Getaway for $2. For every ticket sold, the Chicken Lip Foundation will donate $1 (free & clear of all taxes & expenses) to the organization. The other $1 goes to the Chicken Lip Foundation to cover costs of the basket, taxes, raffle license fees, etc.
  
• The Chicken Lip Foundation "makes a donation" to the organization, only the CLF needs to hold the raffle license, freeing the organization up from this obligation (and possibly any by-law restricting raffles -- see your organization's by-laws to make sure).
  
• THE 2K CLUB - We award an extra $500 bonus to organizations for every 2,000 tickets they sell.
  
  

  Sell 2000 tickets earn an extra $500

  Sell 4000 tickets earn an extra $1000

  Sell 6000 tickets earn an extra $1500

  Sell 8000 tickets earn an extra $2000

• Participating organizations will be highlighted in media promotion held in conjunction with Iowa's Largest Community Basket including press releases, radio ads, newspaper ads, interviews with radio personalities, posters/ flyers and www.chickenlipfoundation.com.
  
• The CLF wants YOU and YOUR ORGANIZATION to be successful. We will help you as much as possible, however it is YOU who must sell the tickets. Sell a lot of tickets, make a lot of money.
  
• The 2008 raffle winner will be drawn at Community Field in Burlington during the Bees game on Sunday, May 18th. The 2008 Walt Disney World Resort Getaway winner will be drawn during the May 18th Bees game as well. Organizations are encouraged to be onsite as this is a great PR opportunity to raise awareness for your cause. Organizations are NOT allowed to sell tickets outside the gates at Community Field during the Community Basket Pre-Game Spectacle.
  
• The money will be distributed to the organizations via the US Postal Service.
